Monte Judah Coming to Waco
Our friends at Mishkan Etz Chaim have asked us to pass along the following announcement
Mishkan Etz Chaim has made arrangements for Monte Judah to inaugurate our Waco Yeshiva on November 19, 2006. He will be speaking on the Book of Isaiah from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm Ann Judah will offer a dance workshop from 11- 12:00 for beginners and from 12-1:00 for intermediates. We will break for lunch from 1:00-2:00. You may wish to bring a cooler with food, drinks and snacks for your family. We will meet at the Hampton Inn, 4259 N IH 35, Waco TX 76705, 254-412-1999. The Hampton Inn is located north of Waco on IH 35 Exit 339. If you would need a room, they are offering a discounted rate of $99 plus tax. There are also other hotels nearby such as Fairfield, Days Inn, and Comfort Inn. Several restaurants are also nearby. The cost per person for the Yeshiva will be $20.00.
Our December meeting for Hanukkah is December 15, 16, and 17, 2006. Dominick Zangla and Ben Davis will be teaching on the feast of Dedication. Dominick’s insight on Hanukkah will bless your whole family and Ben will share his artistic creativity on celebration and worship. This is the same time as Baylor graduation. Therefore, everything is booked or at a premium price. We have a wonderful location, but the price will be $1800.00 for the three days. We need to receive donations to cover the cost of the Bosque Room at the Waco Convention Center for the event.
Please respond to us by email by November 8 if you are willing to make a gift or offering to Mishkan Etz Chaim. We must nail down the room before it is taken. The check may be mailed to PO Box 23343, Waco TX 76702
