Darcy & Les Morrison @ Shomrei Brit on 8/18

Darcy & Les Morrison will be presenting a musical program at Shomrei Brit on 8/18. We encourage you to invite friends. I believe this will be a real blessing. They are traveling here from New Jersey. To help them with the cost of their trip an offering will be taken.

Dates for Upcoming Mo'edim

We are quickly approaching the fall festivals. Shomrei Brit observes the calendar based on the visible new moon sited in Israel. So, the following schedule will likely be the dates of the upcoming mo'edim. Please note that all of these dates are dependent upon the siting of the new moon for Yom Teruah ocurring as predicted. Outside of some weather issue, that should not be a problem. Additionally, you should note that the mo'edim actually starts at sundown on the day prior to that listed. This is especially important for Yom Teruah as we have been invited to the Trimble's home to look for the moon. Just to be clear, that will be at sundown on the 13th. More details to follow.

9/14 Yom Teruah/Feast of Trumpets
9/23 Yom Kippor/Day of Atonement
9/28 1st day of Sukkot/Tabernacles
10/5 8th day of Sukkot/Tabernacles
